Letter from the President

Welcome to the Palm Springs Corvette Club website.  We hope you will take a few minutes to explore the site and get an idea of why the club was organized, and that is to have fun in our Corvettes.  Our club meetings usually center on discussing potential events that our members would enjoy, we base that on their intention to participate.  Our outings are generally confined to different sites in the desert and the surrounding communities in Southern California, although some of us have been known to take a trip together for a few days or a week if we find somewhere of interest.

Our normal schedule includes:
Cars and Coffee on the first Saturday morning of the month.
Monthly Club meeting on the second Tuesday of the month.
Dinner night out on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
   Monthly run or outing together.
"Diva" lunch on the last Friday of the month.
"Studs" lunch on the last Friday of the month.

Our Community support takes the form of Car Shows and Parades.  The Club's major charitable event is an autocross in March at the Riverside County Fairgrounds.  We are heading into our 19th year of this activity currently to the benefit of the Cathedral City Boys and Girls Club.  We donate the balance of funds raised through the year to ALS of Southern California.

Our final meeting of the year takes the form of our annual Christmas Party.  It is a wonderful way to finish the year in celebration of the holiday season with our members and their guests.

As our club continues to grow many new members are part-time desert residents.  Although only here for part of the year, they take a very active roll in our events and participate in many of our activities.  If you would like to get an idea of how you might enjoy the club, join us at a meeting and/or attend one of monthly activities.

We look forward to hearing from you,

Paul Aragon
